What I offer:

0. A free consultation visit where you can ask me any questions you may have, and decide if you would like me or another doula for your birth.
0. Two prenatal visits where we discuss how you are feeling about your pregnancy, any fears/concerns about this birth, how you typically handle pain, what you would like to happen during this birth, processing how previous birth experiences affected you, what preferences you have for touch, when I might arrive, expectations, etc. It is also a time for you and your partner to become comfortable with me.
0. Continuous on call coverage for two weeks before and two weeks after your due date. If the baby arrives before two weeks due I will do my best to be there. Together we will decide when I will come and where we will meet during the prenatal visits.
0. Continuous presence at the birth of your child.  During this time I will offer ideas for position changes, massage, will be working as a team with other providers, discuss options with you, and breathing & relaxation techniques. I will stay with you for as long as the birth takes and 1-2 hours after birth to help with breastfeeding, and in general just to celebrate! 
0. 24 hour phone availability for questions, concerns, or just to chat.
0. One postpartum visit where we will discuss how things went, and where I will present you with a birth story that I have written of your experience. Often times I will fill in gaps in memory.  This is also when payment is expected and I will ask for feedback about my services.
